Live in Manislor, Three Days with Jema’at Ahmadiyah
Is Ahmadiyah outside of Islam, misguided and misleading? Know closer Jema’at Ahmadiyah is the main purpose of our journey. I don’t say that it’s an observation, I prefer to say this journey as traveling with my new community, I.e. GARUDA (Gerakan Gusdurian Muda), Malang. We have lived in Manislor, Kuningan, West Java for three days and we have many activities related to Jema’at Ahmadiyah.
It’s unexpected! You know why? I am sure that you will never know if you don’t come to Manislor, live with Ahmadi, and blend right in with them. Previously, I thought that I will get many doctrines, we will be refused because we are in different organization or even different beliefs. It’s totally wrong, we got warm reception and received gladly. The trip from Malang to Manislor takes about 18 hours, it’s so exhausting. Moreover, we use the bus as the transportation, it made us have elephant feet Ha-ha.
After we arrived in Manislor, we got warm reception and they greeted us with a smile and told us to take a rest directly. Although we didn’t live in hotel, the facilities and the services were not inferior to a Five Star Hotel. The important thing that you have to know is we are always served food three times in a day with four healthy five perfect foods, not to mention, the snacks and coffees are always available. This is contrary to our real life as nomads who can only eat one to two times in a day even just Mie-Instant (noodles) at the end of the month. Ha… Ha….
Our activities in Manislor is associated with Jema’at Ahmadiyah, these are related to the worship, social, trade, and even their daily life. To introduce Jema’at Ahmadiyah, they did presentation which conveyed by the preaches and give us the chance to ask as much as we want, whether it’s good thing or negative news that we’ve ever heard about Ahmadiyah. Besides, we are welcome to observe the activities of Manislor society. They invited us toured the Ahmadiyah mosques manufactures of tofu and mushrooms. Last but not least, in the end of the agenda, we invited to Linggarjati museum, which is one of the famous museum in Kuningan.
Describing this valuable journey is not enough just to write it down, you will never feel what I feel before you come there. I got new friends, new knowledge, new experiences, views and new thinking, and the greater is met with the great people. Please, don’t ever have negative thinking, too aggressive of an organization, let alone give worse label to someone or group who have the same religion. Ahmadiyah, they are not the destroyers of religion, they are not our enemies, and they are just having different beliefs with us.
Don’t hurt each other. “Love for all, Hatred for none” Hazrat Mirza Tahir Ahmad. We went home with a happy and increasingly healthy are the evidence of the great treatment of Jema’at Ahmadiyah.
Thank you so much
